About My Beloved

I know that I have bragged about my beloved in the past, but in an effort to improve my mood I have been counting my blessings and he is number one among them all. Please indulge me as I sing his praises for a bit...

  • He's my best friend.
  • He does the laundry.
  • He does the dishes.
  • He loves God.
  • He loves me.
  • He doesn't make fun of my singing voice.
  • He is a math genius... which is particularly useful as he's an accountant.
  • He holds my hand.
  • He understands that sometimes women just get cranky, and he knows to stay out of my way.
  • He loves my cooking.
  • He tells me I'm beautiful, even when I feel gross.
  • He (almost) always remembers to hang up his towel.
  • He makes me laugh.
  • He accepts that my first love was Don.nie Wahl.berg, and doesn't mind at all ;)
  • He talks to himself in the cutest way.
  • He understands and shares my longing for a baby.
I am so blessed to have him in my life. He's my cheerleader, my sounding board, and my guinea pig for new recipes. He's makes me want to be a better person.

On a completely different note... AF has arrived with a vengeance. On the upside, with the spotting for two days (for the second cycle in a row) before I might actually have a case for progesterone supplements... maybe. We'll see what Dr. U says on the 11th. Thank you everyone for all your supportive comments over the last few days. I really appreciate it!

  1. He sounds perfect. You are so lucky.
Hope the two of you can take some of the weekend to relax, recoup, and enjoy eachother.

  2. He sounds great. I share the love of my husband for doing the dishes and him not making fun of my singing voice. He also cooks! Yay for good husbands. I hope it's improved your mood!

  3. What a wonderful guy! You are so very lucky. I've done progesterone once, and I wasn't crazy about it, because it caused cramping, and nasty discharge (for suppositories), and delayed AF. But I totally think it's worth it if it improves anything at all. Good luck!

  4. So glad you have such a gem to spend your life with...your DH sounds wonderful!

Not too much longer until the 11th. Hope you are able to wait it out without too much anxiety...I know waiting is often the hardest part.

    Thinking of you.

  5. You should do eharmony commercials. I'm sorry you are having to go through infertility troubles. It sucks. I'm just starting out on this road and already it seems so long. Good luck and stay happy.

Hobbits are social creatures, and love hearing from friends old and new. Pull up a comfy chair and let's get to know one another.
