Interview Update

Howdy Humble Readers!

Just wanted to let you all know...

My Beloved feels that his interview went really really well.  It was a pretty lengthy interview, lasting about an hour and a half.  He said that he didn't come out feeling that he should have answered anything differently.

He'll hear, either way, by the end of the week.

I'm trying really hard not to count any chickens before they're hatched... but this would be such a good thing for us.  The bottom end of the salary range for this job is more than what our total combined income was before I went on mat leave two years ago.

Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts.  Please keep 'em coming!

  1. Ohhhh, I hope he gets the job!!!

  2. Seriously, I'm praying and pulling for you!!! It would be such an amazing blessing! Fingers crossed!!! :)

  3. That's a long interview!! Sounds so promising! Fingers are definitely crossed. :)

  4. Oh wow! I hope he gets it! Sending positive vibes your way...

  5. Hi from ICLW. Really hoping that he gets the job.

  6. Hello hello there, I'm from ICLW too. Fingers crossed on the interview. I'm on my phone so had a quick look and will come back later to investigate more. I see you also read a lot, my partner and I are just about set to open a library! We met 5 years ago-ish and both had considerable collections, but being with another that loves books as much is a dangerous thing! Does your beloved live to read too?
Also, and it may just be a phone thing, but it said that The larder & the quest pages didn't exist?

  7. I LOVE your description at the top of your blog. I'm also a hobbit :) Nice to meet you and good luck with the interview!

    Visiting from ICLW.

  8. Visiting from ICLW! Finger's crossed for the interview. =]

  9. Awwwwwww! Too precious! I hope the outcome from the interview turns positive!

    Stopping by via ICLW!
